Three of Trinidad and Tobago’s most celebrated cricket stars have received a major sporting honour after a stand at the historic Queen’s Park Oval was renamed in recognition of their outstanding careers.

Former West Indies captain Dwayne Bravo, Trinidad and Tobago captain Kieron Pollard, and mystery spinner Sunil Narine were honoured as the stand formerly known as the Trini Posse Stand received new recognition during the ongoing 2026 Caribbean Premier League season.

The tribute comes as the Queen’s Park Oval continues to host major CPL action, keeping Port of Spain at the centre of Caribbean cricket during the tournament.

The honour recognises the enormous impact Bravo, Pollard and Narine have had on Trinidad and Tobago cricket, West Indies cricket and the global T20 game.

All three players have become internationally recognised figures through successful careers in franchise cricket, while also serving as major sporting role models for young cricketers across Trinidad and Tobago.

The latest recognition is expected to add even more significance to the Queen’s Park Oval for cricket fans, particularly during a period when the venue remains a major stage for regional T20 competition.

For Trinidad and Tobago sport, the renamed stand is a lasting tribute to three players whose achievements have helped raise the country’s profile across international cricket.
