PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Haiti’s rising football talents have earned an international opportunity after the country’s victorious Under-14 national team received an invitation from French professional club Racing Club de Lens (RC Lens) for a sports exchange visit scheduled for November 19–29, 2026.
The invitation follows Haiti’s impressive triumph in the 2026 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Challenge Series, where the young Grenadiers defeated Jamaica 4–0 in the final to secure the championship.
According to the Haitian Football Federation, the visit will give the players an opportunity to experience the training environment of a professional European club, discover different coaching methods and continue developing their football skills.
The exchange represents an important opportunity for Haiti’s youth football development, allowing the young players to gain international exposure and learn in a different sporting environment.
The Haitian Football Federation also acknowledged assistance from the French Embassy in Haiti with Schengen visa arrangements for the U-14 and U-15 national delegations. The announced RC Lens visit is specifically for the U-14 team.
For Haiti, the invitation is more than a reward for winning a regional tournament. It offers a chance to strengthen youth development, encourage international football partnerships and inspire the next generation of Haitian players.
As the young Grenadiers prepare for their November trip, their championship victory has already opened another door in their football journey.
